29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Hornbeam Drive, Moorestown, NJ: On or about Jan. 27, 2016 an employee of Quick Carpentry Inc. was conducting framing work on the roof trusses of a large two story new construction residential structure and was not using any form of fall protection. The employee was exposed to fall hazards of greater than 23 feet and had not been trained to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
