29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrocution hazards. This was most recently documented on or about July 24, 2018 at the jobsite located at 4910-2 Waite Street in Fort Riley, Kansas, during the installation of solar panels on a two-story residential structure. The employer did not train employees to recognize, evaluate, and control electrical shock hazards while employees were working near overhead power lines. Employees were exposed to electrocution and electrical shock hazards while working near and beneath 7.2 kilovolt overhead high voltage lines.
