29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about December 13, 2018, south east side where employees were exposed to a fall greater than 15 feet while working on the deck without being protected by a fall protection system. The Sonny Steel Erectors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1205040, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/15/17, with respect to a workplace located at 505 East Nasa Rd. Pkwy, Webster, Texas. The Sonny Steel Erectors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1127535, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/4/16, with respect to a workplace located at 1437 FM 1463, Katy, Texas.
