29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent. a) Assembly Line /Clean Room - On 4/9/2019, an employee was exposed to continuous noise al 93% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8-hour time weighted average) or equivalent sound levels of 89.5 dBA during 411 minutes sampling period. The exposure calculation included a zero increment of the 69 minutes not sampled. The employer did not implement a hearing conservation program for employees exposed to potential hearing loss while operating assembly line machines daily while not wearing hearing protection.
