29 CFR 1910.184(f)(5)(i): Wire rope sling(s) that had ten or more randomly distributed broken wires in one rope lay, or five or more broken wires in one strand in one rope lay, were not immediately removed from service: a) Bay 2 of warehouse: On or about April 22, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to crush hazards, in that the sling used to move the granite bundles had ten randomly broken wires within one rope lay.
