OSH ACT of 1970 Section S(a)(l): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the following hazards: electrical hazards while using a plastic welder and extension cord. a. On or before August 8, 2019, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from electrical contact hazards by removing an extension cord that was missing the ground prong and had damage to the outer sheathing. b. On or before August 8, 2019, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from electrical contact hazards by removing a cord and plug-connected plastic welder that had damage to the cord.
