29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62m) of lateral travel for employees: Location: In a trench located at the intersection of Farm Rd and Macy Rd in Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510 a) On or about November 20th, 2019, employees were exposed to caught in hazards due to no egress in an approximately 7ft deep trench by 5ft wide and 12ft long with vertical earth walls.
