29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): An exit access must be at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. Where there is only one exit access leading to an exit or exit discharge, the width of the exit and exit discharge must be at least equal to the width of the exit access. a) Dollar General Store # - 514 North Antrim Way, Greencastle, PA 17225: On or about October 30, 2020, the employer did not ensure the aisleway between the dairy coolers/freezers and stored products on "U-boats" and "Rolltainers" was greater than 28 inches. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1301615, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 17 East State Street, Quarryville, PA. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
