29 CFR 1910.27(a): The employer did not ensure that scaffolds used in general industry meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds). a. On or about November 25, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee installing a light on a utility pole from a pallet raised, approximately seventeen (17) feet above ground, by the forks of a Toyota Forklift Truck Model 8FGCU25 Serial No. 44768 was not protected from falling, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards. The scaffold (i.e., wood pallet attached to the forks of the forklift) did not meet the requirements of 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L.
