29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a.) On or about Thursday, April 28, 2021 at 64-18 230th Street, Oakland Gardens, NY, 11364. Employees installing clay tile roofing shingles on a residential roof were not trained on the use of fall protection. The working level was approximately 30 feet from the lower level. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19
