1910.39(c)(1) A fire prevention plan did not include: A list of all major fire hazards, proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous materials, potential ignition sources and their control, and the type of fire protection equipment necessary to control each major hazard; On or about December 23, 2021, in the Hydro Desulfurization Unit (HDU-1), at ExxonMobil Refinery in Baytown, Texas, the employer did not identify and anticipate the potential for re-ignition following application of steam lances and select personal of personal protective equipment to be used by employees that would protect them against the potential for re-ignition while assessing a naphtha leak.
