29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles in the following instances: a) On or about March 13, 2024, and at time prior thereto, in the tool room; an employee operating the lathe machine was not using appropriate eye or face protection while shaping and shaving raw metal materials. b) On or about March 13, 2024, and at time prior thereto, EPTD/Stampcoat press areas; an employee operating punch press #112 was not using appropriate eye or face protection while processing a batch production of small, uniformed sheet metal parts. c) On or about March 13, 2024, and at time prior thereto, EPTD/Stampcoat press areas; an employee operating punch press #191 was not using appropriate eye or face protection while processing a batch production of small, uniformed sheet metal parts. d) On or about March 13, 2024, and at time prior thereto, paint/coating area; an employee was not using appropriate eye or face protection while working with freshly painted metal material.
