29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: On or about December 2nd, 2015, in the plant production area, where employees were exposed to noise hazard without a continuing, effective monitoring program in place: a) The Punch Press machine (Bliss C-60/Punch Press 55) machine operator was exposed to a noise level of 95.36 dBA during a 478 minutes sampling period on December 2nd, 2015. b) The extrusion machine ACME-6 machine operator was exposed to a noise level of 92.42 dBA during a 477 minutes sampling period on December 2nd, 2015. c) The extrusion machine ACME-7 machine operator was exposed to a noise level of 91.48 dBA during a 483 minutes sampling period on December 2nd, 2015. d) The snow drill machine SD01 machine operator was exposed to a noise level of 89.62 dBA during a 485 minutes sampling period on December 2nd, 2015. e) The deburring machine Hardinge A-1283 machine operator was exposed to a noise level of 87.48 dBA during a 486 minutes sampling period on December 2nd, 2015.
