29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1): The employer did not develop and maintain a fire protection program to be followed throughout all phases of construction and demolition work, and/or did not provide for the firefighting equiment as specified in this subpart: (a) On or about August 31, 2018, in the Tank 60 area, the employer did not develop a site-specific fire protection and prevention program for welding and cutting operations while installing a new steel tank adjacent to an existing creosote storage tank. This exposed employees to the hazards of fire and explosion.
