29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Location: 2441-A Boston Rd, Bronx, NY 10467 a) On or about May 14, 2022, the employer did not ensure that an employee who patched and painted stucco on the fa�ade of the building while on a scaffold was properly trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used, such as, but not limited to, the use of ladders on the scaffold. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item, failure to comply will result in an additional penalty of $1,000.00 as per 29 CFR 1903.19.
