29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1): Only stable or safely arranged loads shall be handled. Caution shall be exercised when handling off-center loads which cannot be centered. a. On or about October 3, 2017, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure employees were protected while moving granite slabs with the Wesco JibRig forklift boom lift attachment. The lifting attachment was not secured to the carriage of the forklift to prevent displacement from the forks, exposing employees to a crushed by hazard. b.
