29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) Native Tree Service, LLC., at 9241 High Street in Thornton, Colorado 80229: On or before July 6, 2018, the employer failed to provide eye and/or face protection when the employees were using the chainsaw and the tree chipper, exposing the employees to flying particles. This hazard exposed the employees to cuts, scratches, foreign bodies in the eye and ocular trauma.
