29 CFR 1926.502(d)(18): Body belts, harnesses, and components shall be used only for employee protection (as part of a personal fall arrest system or positioning device system) and not to hoist materials. On or about June 3, 2020, a employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 22 feet while using his fall protection lifeline to hoist materials while working on the roof. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
