29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Location: 2441-A Boston Rd, Bronx, NY 10467 a) On or about May 14, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees who used A-frame ladders to remove exterior lights and hang drop ceilings were provided a training program for using ladders as necessary. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item, failure to comply will result in an additional penalty of $1,000.00 as per 29 CFR 1903.19.
