29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Shaft ends projecting more than one-half the diameter of the shaft were not guarded by nonrotating caps or safety sleeves. a) Sawmill; On or about February 25, 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that employees were allowed to walk and work in close proximity of an unguarded projecting shaft end that projected more than one half times the diameter of the shaft on the conveyor next to the subway/separate table.
