29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1)(i): Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level was not guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) and was not provided with a toeboard wherever, beneath the open sides, and whenever persons can pass: On or about 4/14/2016 in the storage room: employees placing and removing materials such as but not limited to hardware and retail products into the loft areas are exposed to fall hazards where there were no railings installed, also workers passing below were exposed to potential struck-by hazards where there were no toe boards installed; the heights were: a. above 9 feet (113") to the concrete floor below at the loft above the entrance to the back room; b. above 9 feet (103") to the concrete floor below at the loft above the rest room.
