29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(ii): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards, based on the mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided: On or about June 22, 2016, E.R.H. Enterprises, Inc. had employees exposed to electrical hazards from flexible cords with exposed inner wiring connected by wire caps, which did have mechanical strength and durability to provide employees electrical protection, at the water treatment plant in Danville, Illinois. This would include: a. Flexible cords providing power to water pump in Small DAF Room and b. Flexible cords in DAF Building, DAF 1.
