29 CFR 1910.119(e)(1): The employer did not perform an initial process hazard analysis (hazard evaluation)on processes covered by 29 CFR 1910.119. a) The employer is failing to protect employees from fire/explosion hazards while preparing fireworks for display. This was most recently documented on July 3, 2018 at A.M. Pyrotechnics LLC, located at 2429 E. 535th Road in Buffalo, MO. The employer did not perform an initial process hazard analysis (Hazard evaluation) pertaining to the process of assembling multiple components of display firework devices consisting of Hazard Class/Division 1.3G explosives. b) The employer is failing to protect employees from fire and explosion hazards. This was most recently documented on or about July 3, 2018 at A.M. Pyrotechnic Displays LLC, located at 2429 E. 535th Road, Buffalo, MO . The employer did not perform an initial process hazard analysis (hazard evaluation) pertaining to the process of assembling multiple components, which include, but are not limited to star rolling, comet pressing, and assembly of display firework devices consisting of Hazard Class/Division 1.3G explosives.
