29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1): Abrasive wheel(s) were used on portable grinder(s) which were not provided with safety guard(s) meeting the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1) through (c)(4) On or about March 6, 2019 at Polar Service Centers, Port Allen location the employer failed to ensure that portable grinders were equipped with a safety guard. Employee(s) used the portable grinder to remove aluminum patches from bulk trailers.
