29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: On or about December 18, 2019, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide a medical evaluation before an employee was required to wear a respirator while performing abrasive blasting work. This exposed the employee to respiratory hazards from crystalline silica and cardiovascular stress.
