29 CFR 1926.553(a)(4): All base-mounted drum hoists in use did not meet the applicable requirements for design, construction, installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and operations, as prescribed by the manufacturer. (a) Hoist - On or about February 7, 2020 the employer did not ensure the Hydradyne tower hoist had an operator's manual on site, controls clearly marked and easily accessible, documented daily inspections on-site, and a winch elapse time meter, exposing employees to struck by hazards.
