29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: a) Work site was located at 321 NJ 440, Jersey City, NJ 07305 Employees were working in an open trench that had water in the bottom of the trench a few inches deep and seeping out of the sidewalls at various points that was not being pumped out or controlled to protect. Violation was observed on or about February 27, 2020.
