29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) At 845 Main Street, Chipley, Florida; On or about January 4, 2021, and at times prior, the employer allowed employees to perform demolition activities on a building while working from the ceiling rafters, trusses, and beams without fall protection, exposing employees to a fall hazard of up to 15 feet to the concrete below.
