29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7):Industrial trucks were not examined daily before being placed in service: a) Throughout facility: Powered industrial trucks were not inspected prior to use for defects and remained in use while having defects including but not limited to inoperable horn, inoperable backup lights, inoperable backup alarm on a Hyster Model S50XM, Serial # 0187V30031A. Observed on or about 11/16/22 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
