29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: a- 21 Charlotte Street, Marlton NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 9 feet 1 inch to the flooring below, when using the top step/top of an portable A-framed ladder to gain access to and egress from a residential structure's exterior wall top plate. Condition observed on or about 12/14/23. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
