29 CFR 1910.1048(i)(3): When there was a possibility that an employee's eyes may be splashed with solutions containing 0.1 percent or greater formaldehyde, the employer did not provide acceptable eyewash facilities within the immediate work area for emergency use: a) K-Plant, between #6 Press and #2 Mixer, on or about June 6, 2014 - Splashes of phenolic resin, which contained 66% of phenol formaldehyde resin, occurred during the handling of the 250-gallon totes. There are no eyewash stations in the immediate area. b) T-Plant, Warm Room, on or about June 6, 2014 - Splashes of phenolic resin, which contained 66% of phenol formaldehyde resin, occurred during the handling of the 250-gallon totes.
