29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative controls were not utilized: Grinding Building - The grinder operator was exposed to continuous noise at 301% of the permissible daily exposure limit (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 97.9 dBA during the 395 minute monitoring period, on or about March 5, 2015. In addition to the mandatory use of effective hearing protection by all exposed employees, an effective hearing conservation program must be maintained as per 29 CFR 1910.95(c).
