29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a. Located at 3610 West Pike, Zanesville, OH: On or about November 01, 2018, the employer did not conduct periodic inspection of the energy control (lock-out, tag-out) procedure for the two types of balers at the facility location. The baler machines at the facility included the horizontal (Maren, Model: 72/60-301, Horizontal Closed Door Baler and vertical (CRAM-A-LOT, Model VB-72) balers. The facility had nine vertical and three horizontal balers.
