29 CFR 1910.178(m)(2): Persons were allowed to stand or pass under the elevated portion of a truck, either loaded or empty. The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to struck-by / crushing hazards. At 6190 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters, MO 63304 - On or about 7/23/19, the operator was exposed to the struck-by / crushing hazard when he stood beneath the elevated portion of the truck. The "Crown" (Model No. RR5725-45; Serial No. 1A422917) powered industrial truck (PIT) was loaded with about 26 sheets of 5/8-inch drywall, measuring 48 inches in width by 144 inches in length, and had a combined weight of approximately 2,745.6 pounds.
