29 CFR 1910.1025(f)(2)(i): The employer did not implement a respiratory protection program in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134(b) through (d) (except (d)(1)(iii)), and (f) through (m) for each employee required by 29 CFR 1910.1025 to use a respirator: (a) At Martin Foundry Company Inc.: The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory program to protect employees overexposed to lead. Employees performing melting and pouring operations were not wearing respiratory protection to prevent overexposures to lead. (1) On or about October 30, 2013, an employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) level of 60.11 ug/m3 of lead, which is 1.20 times the OSHA permissible exposure level (PEL) of 50 ug/m3 while performing red brass melting and pouring processes.
