29 CFR 1910.36(g)(4): Objects that project into the exit route reduced the width of the exit route to less than the minimum width requirements for exit routes: a: Sawmill: Wood was stacked at the top of the stairs used for gaining access to and from the mill. The stacked wood reduced the entry/exit point to 15 inches, as observed on March 5, 2014. b: Edger Area: The support pole for the mill and the power panel for the edger, reduced the exit route to 15 inches and the operator had to step over the edger motor that is 24 inches in height to reach the work station, as observed on March 5, 2014. c: Sawmill: Stacked wood between the conveyor and edge of mill on the road side, reduced the walkway to 16 1/2 inches, as observed on March 5, 2014.
