29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): The employer did not assure that portable fire extinguishers were subjected to an annual maintenance check. a) On or about February 21, 2024, and at times prior thereto; in the water tanks area, where all five (5) fire extinguishers were provided for use, were not subjected to an annual maintenance check. a. One (1) fire extinguisher, last verification of service was in May 2021. b. One (1) fire extinguisher, last verification of service was in November 2019. c. One (1) Koetter fire extinguisher, model A411, last verification of service was in November 2016. d. One (1) Southern Supply fire extinguisher, model 8Y-2014, last verification of service was in September 2011. e. One (1) fire extinguisher used at the pump equipment area did not have annual maintenance check/ no verification of service tag.
