29 CFR 1910.178(l)(2)(ii): Training did not consist of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning, video tape, written material), practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee), and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace. a) On or about October 19, 2018, or prior thereto: Training was conducted for operators of 20 powered industrial trucks (PIT) in the facility. Training consisted of practical training in PIT operation, but did not include formal instruction or a classroom element. NOTE: Abatement certification is required for this item.
