29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder is used as a step. A. The employer does not ensure employees do not use the top step of a step ladder while performing framing activities on the residential structures. The violation was most recently observed on May 12, 2016 at 2313 Goldenrod; Perrysburg, Ohio, where employees are exposed to fall hazards while standing on the top step of a 6.00 foot stepladder. To abate this hazard the employer must ensure the top step of the stepladders are not used. LLG Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1111277, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 31, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at Perrysburg, Ohio.
