29 CFR 1910.217(d)(9)(i): Diesetting. The employer shall establish a diesetting procedure that will insure compliance with paragraph (c) of this section. a) On and before January 19, 2023, the employer did not establish a diesetting procedure for equipment including the Punch 21 Walsh Press & Die Co the full revolution press that ensured compliance with paragraph (c) in regards to barrier guards, two-hand trips, and pull back devices. The press was used on January 20, 2023. b) On or about February 1, 2023, the employer did not establish a diesetting procedure for equipment including the Aida 200 Ton Press serial number 00120-0162 the part revolution press that ensured compliance with paragraph (c) in regards to restraint devices, two-hand controls, Type A and B gate, and presence sensing devices. This was last observed on February 1, 2023.
