29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: On or about August 29, 2023, outside of Terminal C Gate C26 at Logan International Airport on 1 Harborside Drive, Boston, MA, 02128, an employee operated a Komatsu BX Forklift (Model Number: FG25TLP-12; SN: 515775A) that had significant wear and damage to its tires, where the employer did not ensure the forklift, not in safe operating condition, was out of service.
