29 CFR 1910.1200(h): Employee information and training. 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3): Training. Employee training shall include at least: 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): The physical, health, simple asphyxiation, combustible dust, and pyrophoric gas hazards, as well as hazards not otherwise classified, of the chemicals in the work area; On or about December 11, 2017, the employer did not provide training in the health hazards associated with the chemicals in the Mill department Mill and Coating lines area, including but not limited to, those hazards associated with "Nylon Primer." "Nylon Primer" was a hazardous chemical associated with the "Primer booth" tank operations. The mixture of hazardous chemicals contained in "Nylon Primer" health hazard information in the manufacturer's safety data sheet included specific hazard pictograms, a signal word, hazard statements and precautionary statements for health hazards that include, but were not limited to, carcinogenicity, target organ toxicity, skin corrosivity and eye corrosivity.
