29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a) Worksite, North Side of Building: Employees working from a job-made supported scaffold were exposed to falls of approximately 25 feet to the ground below. The scaffold and its components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift; on or about 7/1/19. b) Worksite, South Side of Building: Employees working from a job-made supported scaffold were exposed to falls of approximately 25 feet to the ground below. The scaffold and its components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift; on or about 6/29/19. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
