29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guards. (1) Every point of operation guard shall meet the following design, construction, application, and adjustment requirements: (i) It shall prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard: On or about August 21, 2023, at the establishment located at 3575 N. Main Street, Oshkosh, WI, the point of operation guard on the Looper 4 Sleeper and Hartley Full Revolution Press, number 428, side and material openings did not prevent the Operator's hands from being placed into the point of operation.
