29 CFR 1910.136(a): General requirements. The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses protective footwear when working in areas where there is a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects, or objects piercing the sole, and where such employee's feet are exposed to electrical hazards: (a) Mill Area. The employer did not ensure that each employee who is exposed to falling, rolling, and crushing objects due to operating equipment, such as, but not limited to edger, chop saw, and chainsaw were using protective footwear, as observed on or about March 5, 2014. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
