29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section On or about March 4, 2019, and at times prior thereto, at the tank battery train #7, employees performed maintenance and/or repairs to a level controller/float on the heater treater oil boot and peanut valve. The employer did not develop or document specific procedures for this equipment for the control of hazardous energy. Specific procedures were not provided.
