29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulleys, any parts of which are seven (7) feet or less from the floor or working platform, were not guarded in accordance with the standards specified in paragraphs (m) and (o) of this section. a) On or about October 19, 2018, or prior thereto: The pulleys on a motor controlling conveyor speed on the Onion Bin Tipping Machine was not guarded. The pulley was 67 inches above ground level and located adjacent to an employee aisle way. Employees accessed this location to clean onion residue. NOTE: Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.
