29 CFR 1910.179(n)(2)(ii): The load shall be attached to the load block hook by means of slings or other approved devices. On or about February 15, 2022, with respect to an establishment located at 1101 Perry St, Algoma, WI 54201, the employer failed to ensure approved lifting devices were utilized. A locally manufactured spreader bar was being used to lift a 740-pound Penthouse Skid.
