29 CFR 1910.215(d)(3): Surface condition. All contact surfaces of wheels, blotters and flanges shall be flat and free of foreign matter. CWC 273 bldg. SS617: Employees using grinding machinery were exposed to injury where the surface of the grinding wheel contained accumulated aluminum on the side of the grinding wheel.
