29 CFR 1910.119(n): The employer did not establish an emergency plan for the entire plant in accordance with the provisions on 29 CFR 1910.38: a) The employer is failing to protect employees from fire/explosion hazards while preparing fireworks for display. This was most recently documented on July 3, 2018 at A.M. Pyrotechnics LLC, located at 2429 E. 535th Road in Buffalo, MO. The employer did not establish an emergency action plan to ensure evacuation and aid was available for injured employees in the event of an accident that may occur involving Hazard Class/Division 1.3G explosives. b) The employer is failing to protect employees from fire and explosion hazards This was most recently documented on or about July 3, 2018 at A.M. Pyrotechnic Displays LLC, located at 2429 E. 535th Road, Buffalo, MO when the employer did not establish an emergency action plan to ensure evacuation and aid are available for injured employees in the event of an incident that may occur involving Hazard Class/Division 1.3G and 1.4S explosives associated with processes including, but not limited to star rolling, comet pressing, and assembly.
